Eventride is a fan carpool product for helping fans save money getting to the game and to earn carbon credits for their favourite team or performer.

Users must login with their Facebook account which helps them know exactly who they will be riding to the game with.

All events in your area are presented on the Event screen and you can easily select to become a rider or driver. Driver sets the price they think will cover half their fuel and parking fees, and their is no minimum amount. You can even offer a free ride through Eventride! All payments are fulfilled through Stripe.

After you have offered or requested a ride, Eventride will begin the matching process and you will be notified when the best possible match has been found.

When you are matched with another Eventride user, the Driver will be able to offer a price based on the pickup location. The Rider has the option of not accepting the price and seeking another match for any reason.

After a ride has been accepted the Driver will pickup the Rider and bring them to the Event. All rides include the return trip so after the event the Rider and Driver will meet at the car after for the trip home.

After the ride is over, both Rider and Driver get the opportunity to rate the ride and take a survey related to the carbon credit. The carbon credit earned for the trip will be the distance from the pickup point to the Event and the distance of the return trip.

Should a ride be disputed for any reason, the fees will not be transferred until the dispute is resolved.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The application can be safely closed without effecting ride matching or updates.
